I'm back to scrapping again... at long last!

Been awhile... but at least I've got a lil bit of my mojo back... Inspired by all the Awesome Bebot and other Scrapper friends as well.

Here are the layouts I made today from the freebies I got... I really love it!

Layout Credits:
1. Vinnie Pearce’s Thank You freebie kit.
Stacked frames - Veronica Peralta (ScrappyChicDesigns)
2. Vinnie Pearce’s I live for freebie mini kit.
3. Vinnie Pearce’s Today I am Thankful freebie kit.

Back to reality...

Been awhile... back to reality...

For our yearly beach outing this year... We've been invited by a friend to join them in their office beach condo with our groups of friends... Sad to say that 4 families can't join us... (2 families can't come because they have babies to deal with the weather and 2 families moved to other state...)

We've missed them 'cause we usually go there as one whole big family (7 families). But this year, just the 3 families (with a bit older kids). We had lots of and had a blast!

Though on our part, no computer... as in NO laptop but I managed to live without it... ;)
Awhile back, I thought, without pc or laptop with me, I won't managed it because of my eagerness to take lots of pictures and then worry where to put it... but this time, I did it! I managed without pc or laptop in my site. The pics just stayed in our memory card. Good thing we got lots of memory card when Best Buy put it on sale a few years back. Thank Goodness!

Free Kids workshop anyone?

build. learn. create

This is one of the monthly workshop/s our kids love to go... they learn while they're having fun. Friends shared this event with us. Thanks!

The Home Depot's Kids Workshops offer useful projects including the creation of toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers, as well as more educational projects, such as a window birdhouse, bughouse or Declaration of Independence frame kit.

The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children.

In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons, and an achievement pin. Above are the projects for every first Saturday of the month, so go and check your local Home Depot. Definitely, the kids will gonna love it! My kids do! Check it out....

Linky Love Perfect Blend of Friendship...that's cool!

Thanks to Suzanne for being a friend... I'm so honored and it means so much!

Awarded: Mai | Yen | Suzanne | Veronica | Your blog where you posted this.

It's funny how busy, messy, stressed life can get and all you can wish for is to get a break... Oh yeah, I got that break in life ( 7 months at least) and I missed being live online again... My online friends makes it so easy for me... Knowing that someone's online whenever I open my YM and reads, as well as checks me out and my boring blog and talk to me anything under the sun... Knowing someone is always there for you, even you don't really know them in person or otherwise... And that sure is, a friendship for keeps! Sure lucky to find friends like you... Y'all know who you are... ;)

I'm so glad that I met Liz and Suzanne when I got the luck to visit Pinas. Maraming salamat at mineet nyo ako/kami!!! Sad to say that how I wish I also have the time to meet the others too but with my tight schedule, I know that I won't make it! Anyway, Thanks to all of you friends and visitors as well!

I’m passing this to Liz, Nita, Kim, Rona, and Jen.

Have fun friends! ;)

End of the month...

Here... on my way to Songbird Avenue, maybe I still could get the Endless Summer kit.

This month, Songbird is hosting another fab-o kit by Dani Mogstad, Jan, Meredith & Janet.

And with a coordinating cool free gift from Dani too.
Check it out here at the Songbird Avenue!

Layouts to post later.... ;)

Gymnastics time...

We just had 1 event for today. Other than fixing the apt... to make room for new things, the kids had their Gymnastic class, starts at 3:30 for Nikki and 3:45 for Nathan. They are both enrolled at Acrotex Gymnastics. Fall registration is on-going and I enrolled them for Wednesday too but in a later time because by that time they'll be both in school. They need to rest first (at least 2 hrs. for Nikki) before going to Gymnastics.

Did I mention "both in school"? Yes!, Nathan, my Lil boy (though, he doesn't want to be called "Lil boy" is going to Pre K this fall) At last, I have 3 hours free on my schedule. Wonder what I can do for a 3 hr break? I have so many plans going on my mind... (as if I have all the time for me...hehehe) But I'm thinking of volunteering at their school or Nikki's school so I can see what they're doing... kwim? hehehe. Nikki's loving the idea because she's been wanting me to volunteer since Kinder (that's when I have Nathan) 'cause on her Pre-K days, I used to volunteer and sometimes teach at their school as "Guest Parent Teacher"... I taught them Chinese New Years crafts, painting, and also, I did a story telling too... though its not a good part 'cause I don't have any patience with kids but I can say that I had fun on those days that I'm volunteering... I'm not sure why but I'm so happy that I can teach them... It's so funny 'cause I didn't tell Dh about it back then 'cause I don't want him to tease me. Its because I'm so strict regarding studying... it's like the "old school type of teacher" and they don't want it... 'cause they want some fun.

We met Nikki's PreK schoolmates at the mall after we moved to other school and they still remember me, as their chinese teacher because of that Chinese New Year event that I taught them. They learned how to make Chinese Lantern, How to count 1-10 in Mandarin and gave them a red envelope / packet (Known as Hong Bao in Mandarin, Ang Pao in Hokkien and Lai See in Cantonese) as gift too. Its fun 'cause the Moms said that they still have that little red envelopes that I gave out back then as well as the lanterns that they hung in their rooms too... and that made us smile.
